The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has announced that the board will set up 624 centers for the over 1.7million candidates that will be writing this Saturday’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the country.
The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede made this announcement in Abuja that the exam body is ready for examination.
The JAMB boss also said,321 blind candidates would participate for the exams.
He added, that the board will mount Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras nationwide for adequate security.
Prof. Oloyede however, discover that many candidates and parents have not recovered from what he described as “technophobia”, the fear of technology, as they still think that the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) method is difficult to operated.
